Joycelyn Urech
Joycelyn Urech was born and raised in Houston, Texas. She received her undergraduate degree in Geophysics from the University of Houston and her Law degree (Juris Doctorate) from South Texas College of Law in Houston, Texas in December 1994 and became a member of the Texas Bar in May of 1995. Prior to becoming an attorney, Joycelyn was a legal assistant in a litigation boutique located in Houston, Texas.
Joycelyn’s 14 years of practice has included working as assistant general counsel for a small corporation, and working as a partner in a small general practice law firm, which she co-founded.
She has been a resident of Katy, Texas since 1983 where she has been an active member of the community. She has served on the Board of Trustees of a local Church and has served as a pro bono attorney for several local charities. Joycelyn is currently active with the Katy Chamber of Commerce where she serves on several committees and volunteers her time working on community projects.
